Tideborn Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Tideborn Command asks you to run a small maritime settlement, sending fleets out to trade and defend while keeping your docks fed. It's slower and more thoughtful than most mobile strategy games, and it doesn't nag you with pop-ups every ten seconds.
The clever bit is weather. Storms reroute your ships and force you to keep reserves instead of committing everything at once. Early on we lost half a fleet to overconfidence, and that lesson stuck. Planning around uncertainty is the whole game.
Menus are a touch cramped on smaller screens, which is our main gripe. But once you learn the layout, the strategy underneath is satisfying and surprisingly deep for a phone title.
