Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is an adventure game with no combat and no rush. You wander a hand-drawn forest, light lanterns, and slowly piece together what happened to a place that's clearly been abandoned. It trusts you to notice things without arrows pointing everywhere.

The atmosphere carries it. Ambient sound and soft animation make even backtracking feel pleasant, and the puzzles are gentle nudges rather than roadblocks. We finished it in a few sittings and immediately wanted to explore corners we'd skipped.

It won't be for people who want constant action, but as a wind-down game it's lovely. Play it with headphones on a slow evening and it delivers something most mobile games don't even attempt.
